Ovessa is a PCOS tracker for iPhone: your cycle, symptoms, supplements and medications, food and metabolic health in one place. There is no account to create. Everything you log is saved on your iPhone.

A short setup

The first launch is two short pages and five quick questions:

  1. What brings you to Ovessa.
  2. Which symptoms you have.
  3. Anything you avoid. Allergies are a hard rule; dietary preferences are advice only.
  4. Whether you take anything, supplements or prescriptions.
  5. Whether you’d like to connect Apple Health.

Every question can be skipped, and your answers are saved only on the last screen, “Here’s your Ovessa”, where you tap See your plan. Back out halfway and none of them are kept. The one exception is Apple Health: connecting it at question 5 starts bringing your history in straight away.

After setup, Ovessa shows one offer for Premium. Not now takes you straight into the free app, and the plans stay in Settings → Subscription if you ever want them. The camera and notifications are not requested during setup; Ovessa asks the first time a feature needs them.

The five tabs

  • Today is your daily dashboard: where you are in your cycle, the supplements still due, one-tap buttons for a symptom, a food scan or your weight, and a water card.
  • Cycle is the month calendar and your cycle history.
  • Food is where you scan a meal, add one by hand, scan a barcode and see the day’s meals.
  • My Health holds Insights, the Summary, your weight, glucose, sleep and steps, and the doctor report.
  • Settings holds tracking setup, Apple Health, units, appearance, language, the Privacy centre and support.

Log a day

The Day log is one sheet for period flow (None, Light, Medium or Heavy), symptoms and an optional note. Tap a symptom to log it, and tap again to set how strong it was. Open it from Today, or tap any day in the Cycle calendar to log or fix an earlier day.

The symptom list covers what PCOS tends to bring: fatigue, bloating, acne, cramps, hair loss, excess hair, mood, sleep, headache and cravings. Add your own with + Custom; a custom symptom joins the list everywhere after that.

Supplements and medications

Add an item with its dose and schedule: times of day, selected weekdays, a course with rest days, or as needed. Prescriptions are tracked the same way and marked Rx. Today shows what’s due, and everything due at the same time arrives as one gentle notification, never one per pill. There are no streaks and no missed-dose shaming. You set the dose yourself; Ovessa records what you take and never advises on doses.

What’s free

The whole tracker is free: cycle tracking and predictions, symptoms, supplements and medications, barcode scans with the PCOS grade and allergy screen, Apple Health, Insights, the Summary, CSV export and Delete everything. Free also includes 10 smart meals, by photo or typed, to try.

Premium is optional. It makes smart meals unlimited and adds the doctor-ready PDF. Prices are shown in the App Store for your region, and if you stop, you’re back on Free with every record still yours.

Where your data lives

On your iPhone, and in your own Apple Health if you connect it. Only food lookups and purchases go online, and they carry nothing about you. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
